What is FAN ID:

The FAN ID is an identification document needed by the Russian authorities. All ticket holders need to hold a FAN ID together with a valid match ticket to enter the stadiums hosting matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Fans can apply for a FAN ID after obtaining a ticket or receiving a ticket confirmation for a ticket to a 2018 FIFA World Cup match. Visa-free entry and transport benefits

The FAN ID gives visa-free entry to Russia for foreign citizens that have purchased 2018 FIFA World Cup match tickets. Such fans will be able to enter and remain in the country during the period that starts 10-days before the first match and ends 10-days after the last match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Please note, that a FAN ID will be also needed to leave Russia once it had been used for visa-free entry purposes.

Transport benefits
